I know, the title of this article is a little offensive. I debated whether or not to write on this subject at all. The Supreme Court's decision over the rights of a church to protest during the funeral of a soldier who was killed in Iraq has caused a tsunami of emotion.On Wednesday of this week the Supreme Court ruled that the First Amendment of the Constitution does protect the speech of church members who do not have a brain.The court voted 8-1 in favor of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan. The decision upheld an appeals court ruling that threw out a $5 million judgment to the father of a dead Marine who sued church members after they picketed his son�s funeral.
