One of the most interesting verses of scripture found in the Bible is the description of Enoch and his "Rapture" to heaven in Genesis chapter 5, verse 24:The Third Prophecy Found in the Bible:Genesis 5:24 "...And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him."This event in the Old Testament is intended by the Holy Spirit to typify or illustrate for us a similar event that will occur in the last days just before the beginning of the seven year Tribulation. Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica and revealed that "The Lord would descend from heaven�the dead in Christ will be raised�we who are alive will be caught up (Raptured) to meet the Lord in the air�"1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."In this third prophecy found in the Bible, where the Rapture is illustrated, we are directed to chapter 5 of Genesis where one of the most un interesting descriptions imaginable is found.
